Mentees for 2016-17
Mentor: Luciana Berger, Labour and Co-operative Member of Parliament for Liverpool Wavertree and Shadow Cabinet Minister for Mental Health
Why ALMP? I have an interest in pursuing a career in the public sector with specific interests in diplomacy and civil service. My current work experience includes conducting interviews in a market research centre, experience in different service sectors and most recently a job as an administrative assistant at the Birmingham International Academy. Through my mentorship I hope to gain an insight and knowledge of work in the public sector. I would also appreciate help in understanding how to utilize my skills and experiences into graduate opportunities. I am interested in exploring different options and career pathways within the public sector. I am also open to suggestions and advice from my mentor about various opportunities in the future, including graduate schemes as well as continuing with my studies. One of the goals I have for next year would be to find an internship opportunity in an area that interests me, possibly with the assistance of my mentor.
